Privacy Policy
On This Day Shorts · Last updated: 5 November 2026
On This Day Shorts ("the app") is a personal automation tool that publishes short videos to its owner's own YouTube channel. This policy explains what information the app handles.
Information the app accesses
The app asks the owner's Google account for permission to upload videos to the owner's YouTube channel. The app uses that permission only to upload the videos it creates. It does not read, download, or store the owner's YouTube data, subscribers, comments, or analytics, and it does not access any other Google service.
Information about visitors
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking, and it does not ask visitors for any personal information. The app is not available for other people to sign in to, so it holds no data about any other user.
How information is used and shared
The authorisation used for uploads is kept in encrypted secret storage in the owner's private code repository and is used only by the owner's scheduled upload job. It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising, and it is not used to train any model.
The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube API Services
The app uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Revoking access and deleting data
Access can be revoked at any time from the Google account's third-party access page. Revoking it stops the app from uploading, and the stored authorisation can then be deleted. Videos already published can be removed from the YouTube channel at any time.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
